The Clinical Studies

Efficacy Study — Published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology

A 12-week, third-party split-face, double-blind clinical study evaluated the effects of OS-01 FACE and the OS-01 Peptide™ in 22 female participants (ages 47–65) with dry, normal, and combination skin. Participants applied OS-01 FACE MOISTURIZER 2x daily to one side of the face and an identical peptide-free "vehicle" formula to the other, isolating the peptide's effect from the rest of the formulation. Barrier function, wrinkles, texture, and radiance were measured with instrumental devices (Vapometer, Antera 3D, VISIA CR), while fine lines/wrinkles, skin tone, texture, firmness, elasticity, radiance, and overall appearance were evaluated visually and tactilely by expert clinical graders. Published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, Zonari et al., 2024.

The results after 12 weeks1:

    Lovely results with consistency

    I've been using the Oneskin face cream on and off since it came out. I noticed AMAZING results within the first 90 days of using it every day. My skin looked more refined, pores looked smaller, skin looked firmer and I had less fine lines overall. I only have 2 negatives that have kept me from using it during the day and consistently. First, it's not moisturizing enough for my more mature, dry skin to be used on it's own. I always have to load up on humectants or moisturizing serums prior to use and I always have to top it with another moisturizer. Second, my last shipment started to pill or ball up on my skin after it had been absorbed. I have not changed any of the skincare I use with it but I even tried it just on its own and still had the same pilling. Because of these two reasons, I only use it at night now and do swap it out with a prescription retinoid every other night. I'm really hoping this newest refill does not pill!

    Great moisturizer

    My skin is so much healthier than when I started using OS FACE. I don't have dry skin issues anymore, and the moisturizer works well under powder makeup. People tell me all the time that I look younger than I am--can't say it's just from my moisturizer, but I think that's helping!

Retinol is a small molecule that increases cellular turnover by accelerating the shedding of the skin's top layer. This process can boost collagen production, helping improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and texture.

 

The OS-01 Peptide™ also improves visible signs of aging, including those associated with collagen loss, while helping smooth overall skin texture. The key difference is how it works. Retinol focuses on speeding up the activity of existing cells, but does not address the aged, dysfunctional cells that drive skin aging.
