Suneel Chilukuri, MD, FAAD, FACMS
Dr. Suneel Chilukuri is a board certified, internationally recognized expert on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. For over 20 years, Dr. Chilukuri has been perfecting techniques for non-surgical facelifts and advancing how cosmetic dermatology can help patients achieve their skincare goals.
Dr. Chilukuri fellowship-trained in advanced dermatologic surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, and laser surgery at Yale College of Medicine. He studied dermatology at Baylor College of Medicine where he was recognized as the Resident Teacher of the Year and chosen to be Chief Resident. Prior to Baylor, he trained in general and plastic surgery at University of California Los Angeles. He has been published in over 30 medical journals and has over 160 abstracts and presentations around the world. Dr. Chilukuri believes strongly in sharing his knowledge and is an international trainer for numerous cosmetic dermatologic products and procedures.
Locally, Dr. Chilukuri is the Director of Cosmetic Surgery at Refresh Dermatology in Houston, Texas. He has been recognized multiple years as a โTexas Super Docโ and โHouston Top Doc.โ He currently serves on the Board of Directors for DASIL, an international group of cosmetic surgeons and dermatologists, and Blade and Light, a charity surgical organization. He is the Scientific Program Director for the upcoming DASIL meeting in Shanghai, China, where he will also serve as the Shanghai, China, Congress President. He is the past President of the Houston Dermatologic Society.
Carolyn Jacob, MD
Carolyn I. Jacob, M.D. is a Board-Certified Dermatologist, Harvard-Trained Cosmetic and Laser Surgeon, and an Associate Clinical Professor at Northwesternโs Feinberg School of Medicine. She is the Founder and Medical Director of Chicago Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology in Chicagoโs River North neighborhood.
Dr. Jacob is a High Honors graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. In Biology, and attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. After completing an internship in internal medicine at Northwesternโs Evanston Hospital, she was Chief Resident of Dermatology at University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics, and then completed a prestigious Cosmetic and Laser Surgery Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Skin Care Physicians.
Dr. Jacob is a well-known expert in cosmetic and laser treatments. She trains other Dermatologists and Dermatology residents nationally and internationally on injectable cosmetic aesthetics as well as energy-based devices. She is the author of over 45 peer reviewed journal articles and 12 book chapters on cosmetic and laser surgery. She lectures nationally and internationally on the latest devices and treatments in cosmetic dermatology, and her expertise has been featured on multiple national and regional news outlets.
When she is not working or lecturing, she enjoys spending time with her three children and very understanding husband.
Joely Kaufman, MD
Dr. Joely Kaufman is a board certified dermatologist, fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Director of Skin Associates of South Florida, in Coral Gables. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of Miami department of dermatology and cutaneous surgery for 7 years, where she is still active as a voluntary clinical Associate Professor, teaching residents and fellows injection and laser techniques.
Dr. Kaufman is extensively involved in clinical research at the Skin Research Institute and is a Principal investigator on several clinical trials in dermatology, including FDA pivotal studies on neuromodulators, fillers and devices for the aesthetic market. Dr. Kaufman is a leader in the field of Cosmetic Dermatology and has authored and contributed to numerous peer reviewed publications on aesthetic technologies and techniques. She serves as a consultant to companies developing new additions to this market. She lectures nationally and internationally on aesthetic procedures in dermatology including toxins, fillers and lasers. She has appeared in several news and media outlets including CNN, the New York Times, Vogue, and the Dr. Oz show.
Dr. Kaufman is passionate about supporting our specialty and has served on several boards, including as past president of the Miami Dermatology Society and the Florida Academy of Dermatology. Additionally, she currently serves as the Chair of the ASDS procedural survey committee and as a member of the research committee.
