ONESKIN PRODUCTS
Eczema is more common than you might think, affecting millions across the globe with symptoms like dry, itchy, and inflamed skin. If you or someone you know is battling eczema, finding the right skincare products can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack—even products labeled as "for sensitive skin" or "fragrance-free" may still contain potentially irritating ingredients, like fragrances or chemical UV blockers, that mask odors, extend shelf life, or enhance texture, often making things worse!Luckily, the National Eczema Association's (NEA) Seal of Acceptance™ indicates that a product meets stringent safety criteria for eczema-prone skin. We are proud to announce that all OneSkin products have earned NEA’s Seal of Acceptance. Thanks to our policy of using only the best ingredients in our formulations, rigorous testing in our clinical trials, and approval from NEA, we can guarantee that our products are safe for sensitive, eczema-prone skin.

Understanding Eczema: More Than Skin Deep?
Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a chronic skin condition often characterized by red, itchy patches, dryness, and occasionally blisters. While research is ongoing, eczema is believed to arise from a combination of genetic, environmental, and immune system factors.Triggers for eczema are as unique as fingerprints, with some reacting to allergens and others to irritants, weather changes, or stress. Managing eczema means playing detective to find those pesky triggers and using the right skincare products that keep the skin hydrated and the barrier intact.

What is The National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance?
The NEA Seal of Acceptance is a reliable indicator for consumers hunting for skincare products that are safe for eczema-prone skin. When you see that seal, you can rest easy knowing experts have carefully vetted the product, and it’s suitable for anyone needing gentle skincare. To make it easy on you, they even have a helpful tool to let you search which of your favorite products are eczema-safe.
The Process of Earning NEA's Seal
To earn NEA seal, products must undergo meticulous evaluation:
- Products must avoid any ingredients from NEA’s Ecz-clusion List, a comprehensive catalog of ingredients known to exacerbate eczema.
- NEA then reviews the complete formula of all products, including each ingredient's concentrations and functions.
- To verify that they are easy on sensitive skin, every product must be clinically tested to ensure the safety of the product on sensitive skin. Of the three clinical options, we opted for repeated insult patch testing (RIPT), with results showing that 100 individuals had no negative reactions to the products, 50 of which had sensitive skin.
- Finally, NEA requests four samples of each product for physical testing, ensuring consistency and quality.
