Im so grateful to have found this product. I’m a 28 yo with extremely sensitive skin - especially when it comes to chemical, and at times, even some mineral sunscreens. For the majority of my adult life, allergic reactions (hours of v puffy/red irritated eyes, itchy/enflamed skin) became synonymous with sun protection.
That said, I have tested a myriad of brands like Shiseido, LRP, Origins, La Mer, Avene, etc…(all great brands imo, maybe for more forgiving skin or the décolleté) but I have found OneSkin’s formulation to be far superior, and I can say this in confidence as this will be my third refill order of the product.
I should note that I have faithfully been on a retinoid (trifarotene) = extra tenderness/sensitivity.
Some helpful tips from my experiences -
I originally ordered the untinted version (LOVED it), but for the second one I wanted to try a tinted version. First reaction to the tinted, I did not love it.
But with spring/summer here + more sun, I have been experimenting with mixing the highly pigmented tinted sunscreen with the untinted version. And I love! It has been my go to concoction for almost two months. Despite mixing the two, I have found that the application is consistent, embraces the natural glow, and stays on for most of the day. OH, and for my fellow retinoid queens - this is sunscreen + regular use of solid moisturizer reduces most pilling, (if not all on a good day;).
